When the Cost of Performance Is No Longer Worth Paying

What follows is how Carla's work is structured. Each engagement is shaped to the specific situation and held to the same depth and discretion across formats.

Private Coaching Engagement

Private one-to-one work for founders whose leadership carries real weight, and whose responsibilities, decisions, and relationships all draw on the same internal system. The work is anchored in the realities of the business and the life around it, and held over enough time for what is shifting underneath performance to actually move.

This is for founders whose external performance has outpaced their internal capacity, and who are no longer willing to pay the hidden cost of that gap. It is also for founders whose current way of operating cannot carry what is in front of them, whether that is the next stretch of the business or a question of what comes after it.

The work is direct, private, and built for honest examination at a level most founders rarely access, where performance, responsibility, and self-respect converge.

Carla works with a small number of founders in this format each year. Each engagement is confidential, customized, and shaped from the inside.

KEALA KANAE, CEO & Founder of Inspirean, Las Vegas NV

“I’m more confident leading my team than I’ve ever been. I’m clearer about where I’m taking the company and more courageous in the face of challenge and uncertainty. The ROI on this work is extraordinary — increased clarity, stronger leadership, and the ability to grow the company while minimizing pressure and stress. It’s one of the best investments I’ve made.”

Two-Day Intensive

A private, in-person engagement for inflection points, decisions that cannot wait, or moments when clarity has narrowed under pressure. Two focused days to examine what is actually driving the situation and restore the ground for what comes next.

Founders use the Two-Day Intensive at high-stakes transitions, in periods of rapid growth, around major decisions, when team or relational dynamics have started to distort, and at moments when how a founder responds will shape trust, trajectory, or culture for what follows.

The work happens in person, in a private setting, structured to the specific situation. Founders leave with clearer discernment about what requires attention and what does not, and a way to meet what is in front of them without relying on the same automatic responses.

Private Client, Founder & CEO

“Rapid growth, failed ventures, and a seizure left me feeling lost and anxious. Quarterly 2-day intensives with Carla cleared the noise, surfaced my inner wisdom, and put me on a steady trajectory of personal and business growth again. The result: a focused, grounded reset at every major inflection point.”

Leadership Advisory

For founder-led companies where pressure has started distorting how the leadership team operates.

There is a point in many founder-led companies where the pressure stops being just on the founder. It is between the people who carry the most weight. Decisions slow down. Tension changes how the senior team talks to each other, or stops talking altogether. The founder ends up holding things that should be distributed. And the people around them have started pulling back in ways that are hard to name but easy to feel.

The instinct is to locate the problem in a person. More often, it is how the system has organized itself under pressure. And the founder is part of that system, whether or not they are the one who needs to change.

This is not team-building. It is not leadership training. It is a focused, bounded engagement designed to reach the question underneath: what is happening inside this specific team, under this specific pressure, that has changed how they lead together?

Each engagement is built from the inside out. Carla begins with the founder, then conducts private individual sessions with each senior leader before the team enters a room together. These sessions give her a read on how each person carries pressure, where the fault lines are, and what the team has organized itself around that no one has named out loud. From there, she designs and facilitates a multi-day in-person immersion with the senior team, built entirely from what the individual sessions reveal. A follow-up conversation with the founder completes the engagement.

What tends to shift is visible in what stops happening. The management of each other's reactions before a hard conversation. The decisions that stalled were not because the answers were unclear, but because the room could not sustain the tension required to reach them. And for the founder: the weight of holding a picture together that the team used to share has somewhere to go.

Founder: Leadership Advisory Client

“At the peak of rapid growth, anxiety ran the company, not the leaders. Carla brought steadiness, emotional control, and confidence back into the driver's seat, changing how leaders make decisions and show up for their teams and relationships. This is what working with her looks like in a business: calmer leaders, sharper direction, sustainable drive.”

Begin With a Conversation

If the way you have been operating has started to take more than it returns, a conversation is where this work begins.

Engagements are confidential and shaped to the situation. The first call is private and exists to determine fit, not to sell you something.
