Carla Royal, M.Ed. is a certified master coach and photographic artist. She sees the innate goodness, wellbeing, and wisdom in her clients, all people, and all of life. Her passion is to shine a light on these innate qualities whether that be through coaching or photography. She loves helping people recognize these qualities within themselves so that they can return to a sense of equilibrium and deep happiness. Photography is her way of inspiring others and opening them to a deeper appreciation of nature and of themselves.

Carla has spent close to 30 years studying, training, and working as a psychotherapist, transformational life coach, and photographic artist. She lives in beautiful Dunedin, Fl with her partner, Pam, and Pedro, their jackahuahua. She works both locally and globally.

Statement

In our demanding and fast-paced culture, many of us have lost a deep connection to our own innate well-being, resulting in a disconnection from ourselves, others, and nature. We suffer as a result. Our relationships suffer. The earth suffers. A change in perspective can change everything. This is what I learned after years of struggling with alcohol, anxiety, depression, and an unhappiness I couldn't quite shake even when things were going well. This is what I now teach my coaching clients and it is how I approach my photography. A change in perspective can gently lead us to see something new, something previously hidden, enabling us to remember our innate goodness, well-being, and intelligence. Once seen, our lives change profoundly for the good.

My art is inspired by a love of nature. I am a wanderer of woods, field, and water, in love with tree, fern, dropped blossom, reflecting puddle, donkey ears, and riverboats. I love the clouded sky through tangled branches and light dancing off ocean waves. These sustain and inspire me. My hope is that through my art people will be inspired to reconnect with themselves and nature, opening to reconciliation, restoration, and inspiration.
