Andrew
Andrew was my sister’s Pomeranian dog for many faithful years. He died recently at a ripe old age. In this photo, Andrew is posing for me in his smoking jacket. He was always a difficult dog to photograph, for some reason, but on this particular day he was ready to model, and I know that he did it for my sister. She didn’t have a great picture of him and wanted one since he was clearly aging and almost ready to go. He seemed to know how much it meant to her and some how he and the light worked together to create some beautiful photos. My dad used this photo to make a painting for my sister. She received the painting after Andrew died, and she was deeply touched. He was a fine fellow and companion.
