The daffodils are later than usual this year because of the cold winter but they are all in bud now and will be bursting into flower any minute. Crocuses are up. I love the trout lilies and marsh marigolds and the teeny tiny leaves on the trees, but most of all the smell of warming soil and birds singing their heads off.
